Our location offers dark skies and considerably less light pollution than central Rovaniemi. During the aurora season, you may be able to see the Northern Lights from the surroundings of your lodge when the sky is clear and solar conditions are favourable.
Hidden Aurora Hut is specifically positioned towards the northern sky, while our lakeside accommodations offer open views and easy access to outdoor observation.
Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and can never be guaranteed. Staying in a dark and peaceful location, however, allows you to look for them without always joining a crowded excursion.
